AfoodAffair works together with you to ensure that you have considered everything in order for your function to be a success.

Depending on the type of function you are having, your menu selection and the number of  guests that will be attending your event, you may need to consider hiring some of the items/services listed below.

We can arrange all your furniture, décor, music etc on your behalf. This will give you total peace of mind as you will be dealing with one supplier only and the risk is placed on us to ensure correct and timeous delivery of all additional services/items booked. We do not charge a fixed commission for this service, however, we do charge a 15% handling fee on all external bookings.  This fee covers our transport costs to and from suppliers, email and telephone correspondence, as well as upfront payments for items/services booked, on your behalf.

AfoodAffair will discuss and arrange with you any staffing requirements you may have. In certain instances, the menu selection and or event/venue logistics, will dictate that the hiring of staff (waiters/chefs, etc) is compulsory. This will naturally be discussed with you at the time of presenting your quotation.

The waiters and service staff enable the function to run smoothly from beginning to end and give you peace of mind that your guests are well taken care of.

It is important to note that the waiters and service staff responsibilities include: serving of meals (buffet style / plated service/butler style), clearing away of crockery and cutlery, serving of drinks, and clearing up after the function as well as dealing with any ad-hoc eventualities that arise during the function. Venue set-up is not part of the standard duties, but this service is available at an additional charge. Please indicate your interest in this service when you submit your enquiry form.
